The Northwest Gaited Horse Club needs your support and participation to offer the Evergreen Gaited Horse Classic show in 2010. This is a fun and educational show and club that showcases the camaraderie of the gaited horse community in the Northwest. It is a great way to learn more about a variety of gaited horses and a unique avenue to help in the development of your own horse and rider relationships. If you would be able to actively help with the workings of the club and show please contact us.

9th Annual Evergreen Gaited Horse Classic
This is the only show in Washington State affiliated with the Friends of Sound Horses organization in support of sound naturally gaited horses. “Sound” means not “sored”. Importance is placed on education regarding the humane care, training, and treatment of all gaited horses for their emotional, mental and physical well-being. FOSH will only support flat shod or barefoot horses, and will never endorse any event that uses stacks and/or chains as action devices, nor any mechanical, chemical or artificial means to modify the natural gaits of the horse. What is soring?
